According to our sources a contestant scooped the £250,000 prize during Tuesday's recording of the Channel 4 show, Deal or No Deal. The top prize was won for the first time by a 24 year old woman who has not yet been named.
Apparently Channel 4 plan not to show the winning program until early next year, possibly due to fears of ratings falling after 'the big win'.
A source close to the show revealed to UK newspaper the Daily Mirror that: "Noel is absolutely thrilled and so are the rest of the production crew. The only person not happy to be giving so much away is the banker."
