Microsoft have just announced that the "Xbox 360 is the home of next gen football".
After a breif showing of the new Konami PES6 at today's press conference, Microsoft announced that both the next iteration of PES and Fifa will be exclusive to the 360 format for 12 months from release, meaning gamers on other home platforms, namely the upcoming PlayStation 3 will have to hold out for footy fun or take it to another platform.
As to whether this deal applies globally or just to European countries is as of yet unknown.
