Microsoft announced today that they will be offering TV shows and full Movie downloads via Xbox Live. The service, which opens on November 22nd, will allow users to access around 750 hours worth of content initially, with more planned before the end of the year. Microsoft have penned deals with major Television and Movie Studios such as Warner Bros, Paramount and CBS and will have both standard and Hi-Def content ready for the launch.
Prices haven't yet been announced but Microsoft have said Movies will only be available for rental. Downloaded films can be kept for up to two weeks, but will be deleted 24 hours after being viewed. All content will be stored on the 360's Hard Drive.
